Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on IT Administrator to support our IT operations across multiple branch locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, managing user access, maintaining IT update reports, and performing basic system and network tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various branch offices to physically troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
  • Manage and maintain user access across different portals and internal systems.
  • Prepare and maintain regular reports on IT activities and updates.
  • Perform basic system administration tasks including OS installation and software setup.
  • Support and manage desktop systems, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Ensure timely updates, patches, and basic maintenance of systems.
  • Provide first-level support and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
  • Assist in maintaining IT inventory and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Omani data protection requirements and Group privacy frameworks.
  • Act as the local point of contact for data protection matters, including breach notifications.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and ensure lawful, fair, and transparent data use.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for high-risk projects.
  • Deliver staff training and awareness programs on data protection and privacy.
  • Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders on privacy and data handling obligations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT or any related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and installations.
  • Good understanding of user management and access control practices.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and IT support tools.
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP/Firewall) configuration is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel between office locations As required.
