IT Executive

Position: Junior to Mid-Level IT Executive – Desktop Support
Location: PECHS, Karachi
Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Experience Required: 2–3 Years

Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive (Desktop Support) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations. This role requires someone who can take ownership, work independently, and deliver timely support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Manage and resolve tickets through a ticketing system within defined SLAs
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, issues, and resolutions
• Monitor and manage IT inventory including hardware assets and licenses
• Handle procurement of IT equipment and coordinate with vendors
• Ensure system security, updates, and backups are properly maintained
• Provide remote and on-site technical support as required
• Maintain high standards of service and user satisfaction

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT/Desktop Support
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and common business applications
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, Zendesk, or similar)
• Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with IT inventory management and procurement processes
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN)
• Familiarity with remote support tools
• Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
