IT Manager

Job Description

Job Summary

IT Devices is looking for an expert IT Manager who is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, management, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, software systems, ERP platforms, and service operations. This role requires a highly experienced professional with deep expertise in ERP systems (including Microsoft Dynamics), enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, IT service management, and cross-functional leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT operations aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP, Business Applications & Software Management

  • Lead implementation, customization, support, and optimization of ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Manage enterprise software platforms, Microsoft Workspace, productivity tools, and business-critical applications.
  • Ensure software lifecycle management, version upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
  • Oversee database management, maintenance, backups, and performance tuning.

2. IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Manage enterprise servers, workstations, laptops, and endpoint devices throughout their lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and disposal).
  • Manage storage systems, backups, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Plan and execute IT capacity planning and infrastructure scalability initiatives.

3. Network Infrastructure & Connectivity

  • Design, manage, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
  • Administer routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement preventive measures.

4. IT Support, Installation & Operations

  • Oversee IT support services, incident resolution, and service request fulfillment.
  • Manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance and operational support for CCTV systems and related surveillance infrastructure.
  • Establish SOPs and service standards for IT operations.

5. IT Operations & Service Management (ITIL-Based)

  • Implement and manage ITIL-based service delivery models.
  • Oversee incidents, problems, changes, and release management processes.
  • Ensure service continuity, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service performance metrics.

6. Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Develop and enforce information security policies and risk management frameworks.
  • Manage endpoint security, antivirus, EDR solutions, and firewall configurations.
  • Ensure data protection, backup, recovery strategies, and secure access controls.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ITIL, GDPR (where applicable), and internal audit requirements.
  • Lead business continuity planning and disaster recovery initiatives.

7. IT Asset, Licensing & Compliance Management

  • Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, audits, and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee software licensing, compliance management, and vendor audits.
  • Implement capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives.

8. Leadership & People Management

  • Conduct performance management, mentoring, training, and skill development initiatives.
  • Manage workforce planning, role allocation, and succession planning.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT team.

9. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to support business needs.
  • Act as a key IT liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle conflict resolution and ensure alignment between IT services and business priorities.

10. Vendor, Procurement & Budget Management

  • Evaluate, select, and negotiate with hardware and software vendors.
  • Manage contracts, renewals, monitoring, and enforcement.
  • Oversee procurement planning, inventory control, and vendor performance.
  • Manage outsourced IT services and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Control IT budgets, cost optimization, and ROI-driven technology investments.

11. Strategic & Business Leadership

  • Align IT strategy with organizational goals and long-term business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap technology.
  • Lead digital transformation, automation, and modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support executive decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on and strategic experience in ERP systems, enterprise infrastructure, networking, and IT operations.

Note: It’s a Full-time On-site job in Gulberg 3, Lahore

Timings: 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM / 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Pakistan time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs1.00 per month
