  • IT Operations & Infrastructure Management:
    Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of all corporate hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment) and software applications.
    Manage and maintain the core network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls, and VPN connections, ensuring optimal connectivity and bandwidth.
    Manage and administer core enterprise systems crucial to real estate development, such as the CRM system, ERP/Accounting software, and Project Management/Document Control Systems.
    Ensure all data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems are regularly tested, functional, and documented.
  • User Support & Service Delivery (Help Desk):
    Act as the primary escalation point for all Level 1 and Level 2 technical support issues (hardware, software, network, email).
    Manage the IT ticketing system, prioritizing tasks, delegating issues, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize operational downtime for all departments.
    Provide essential on-boarding and off-boarding support, including setting up new user accounts, configuring workstations, and managing system access rights.
    Conduct user training sessions on IT policies, security best practices, and the use of new software/systems.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Implement and enforce IT security policies, including managing anti-virus software, ensuring patch management, and monitoring systems for intrusions or threats.
    Administer and maintain user access controls (Active Directory/Azure AD) and system permissions to ensure compliance with internal security standards.
    Ensure all company data and intellectual property (design plans, financial records, client lists) are protected and comply with relevant UAE data protection regulations.
  • Vendor & Asset Management:
    Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and technology consultants.
    Oversee the procurement of new hardware and software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical compatibility.
    Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, software licenses, and support agreements.
  • Supervision & Documentation:
    If applicable, supervise and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT support staff.
    Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems, network configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service desk knowledge base.
    Assist the IT Manager with strategic planning and input for the annual IT budget.
