What will be your impact?
- Ensure System Reliability: Help maintain the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of our Server infrastructure, directly impacting business continuity and user productivity.
- Resolve Critical Issues: Be the first line of defense in diagnosing and resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues related to servers, networking, and security, minimizing downtime for end-users and customers.
- Strengthen Security Posture: Assist in the maintenance of security software and vulnerability management tools to protect organizational data and assets from external threats.
- Support Key Projects: Contribute to the successful deployment, patching, and documentation of new applications and solutions across the business.
What are we looking for?
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS, Linux OS, and Azure Native services.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to logically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Education/Experience: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Communication: Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to represent professional communication for external partners and customers.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as situations demand.
- Organization and Accountability: Ability to work in team contexts and independently, maintaining a project/task list, reporting progress and documenting time.
What would we love to see?
- Scripting Experience: Basic experience with automation scripting to manage and configure Windows, Linux, and Azure environments.
- Virtualization Familiarity: Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies.
- Azure Advanced Skills: Experience with advanced Azure services, such as Azure Networking and Network Security Groups, KQL, and log file analysis.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience working with system monitoring tools to proactively identify performance or availability issues.
