Logistics Incharge

Global Marks Private Limited is a growing FMCG company looking for an experienced Logistics In-Charge to manage end-to-end Supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and vendor performance.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery to distributors and retailers.
• Manage fleet operations and third party transport providers, including route optimization and carrier performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with the team to align supply with demand.
• Negotiate freight rates, prepare shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor KPIs for logistics performance, cost control, and service levels.
• Lead and coach logistics and warehouse staff to maintain safety, productivity, and accuracy.
• Drive continuous process improvements to reduce costs, improve lead times, and increase order accuracy.

What are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, planning, and warehouse operations.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS (SAP or similar) is preferred.
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for inspections and route checks.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on logistics experience, ideally in FMCG manufacturing or distribution.
