Purpose Of The Position

As Logistics Officer – Senior Pipe Loadout Officer you will respond/report to the Lead / Manager and be part of COMP3 project within the Logistics Department.

Mission/Tasks

The Senior Pipe Loadout Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the safe and efficient loadout of pipes and associated materials from fabrication yards to transport vessels or storage areas. This role ensures strict adherence to project schedules, lifting plans, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Overseeing rigging and lifting operations.
• Coordinating with logistics, QA/QC, and marine teams.
• Verifying loadout documentation and compliance.
• Managing workforce and equipment allocation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues during loadout activities.
  
  

The position demands strong expertise in pipe handling, loadout methodologies, safety regulations, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

What are we looking for?

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or a related discipline.
  
  

Experience

• 5-10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas field / EPC projects
  
  

Languages

• Proficient in English
  
  

Technical Skills / Knowledge

• Solid logistics background with hands-on experience in handling and lifting operations.
• In-depth knowledge of pipe coating specifications, color coding, stowage plans, loading plans, and sequencing.
• Familiarity with barge leveling, ballasting, and handling of CRA pipes.
  
  

Certifications

• HSE certifications or equivalent.
• Crane and heavy-lift safety awareness certifications or equivalent.
  
  

Key Skills

• Advanced knowledge of pipe handling, stacking, and loadout techniques.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, load calculations, and rigging practices.
• Proven HSE leadership and risk assessment capabilities.
• Effective coordination with marine, logistics, and QA/QC teams.
• Problem-solving skills for complex loadout operations.
• Familiarity with yard operations and heavy equipment management.
  
  

IT Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
