Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.


Things you will be doing as a Maintenance Manager

  • Develop and implement a Maintenance strategy and monitor its effectiveness
  • Utilize SAP for maintenance planning, scheduling and execution
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives through breakdowns reduction, OEE improvement and spare parts localization
  • Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and analyze recurring breakdowns, perform root cause analysis using focused improvement and problem-solving techniques
  • Engage, motivate and develop the team to perform at their best to achieve department objectives
  • Encourage the team to come up with new and different ideas for doing work to ensure a continuous improvement process
  • Continuously look for new and better ways to improve different processes already in place on the production floor
  • Develop and implement: best practices, common platforms, sharing experience/knowledge with other functions and factories within Operations


What are we looking for in you?

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 8-10 years of experience, in the Food, CPG or FMCG industries
  • 5-8 years of experience in the maintenance of production machinery
  • In-depth knowledge and implementation experience of SAP PM module, maintenance systems, along with an understanding of utility and general factory service operations and governing laws
  • Experience in implementing TPM or Lean manufacturing systems
  • Strong communication skills
