Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage catering events from start to finish.
- Collaborate with teams to design menus that meet client needs, budgets, and dietary requirements.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee logistics including food preparation, delivery, setup, and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships efficiently.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the catering and events sector.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare proposals, pricing structures, and presentations for potential clients.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote catering services & event management through campaigns, social media, and partnerships.
- Achieve revenue growth targets by expanding corporate, wedding, and private event catering portfolios.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in catering, event management (minimum 8–10 years).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
