Marketing Director

About the Role

The incumbent will be responsible for the leadership, strategy development, and management of Marketing for OUP to deliver strong commercial outcomes. As a member of the Senior Management Team, s/he will contribute to the long-term success of OUPP.

This is a demanding role, where you will work across functions and geographies, to contribute to the long-term success of OUP Pakistan.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the planning and execution of integrated demand and lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, and other customer touchpoints
• Drive alignment between sales and marketing teams by managing CRM systems, marketing technologies, and data processes that enable effective customer segmentation, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing.
• Identify, negotiate, and develop strategic brand partnerships to enhance business growth, increase market reach, and support entry into new markets.
• Continuously monitor and optimize marketing performance metrics, including contribution to the sales pipeline, direct revenue impact, and return on investment (ROI) of marketing programs.

About You

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience within a structured, professionally managed organization, including demonstrated success in leading teams at a senior managerial level.
• Proven track record of holding progressively responsible leadership roles, with substantial experience in driving organizational transformation and managing change to achieve improved outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in digital tools and data-driven decision-making. Hands-on experience in developing and managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and marketing automation platforms—experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud is particularly advantageous.
