The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives while directly managing the Web Administrator and Content Coordinator positions. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both creative execution and team oversight.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, creatively driven, and capable of balancing leadership responsibilities with direct marketing production. This individual must be comfortable stepping into projects wherever needed to maintain momentum, ensure quality, and support company growth across all locations.

This role is responsible for maintaining brand consistency, overseeing marketing workflows, supporting dealership marketing needs, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Manage and supervise the Web Administrator and Content Coordinator positions
  • Assign priorities, oversee workflow, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Review, edit, and approve outgoing marketing materials and creative deliverables
  • Hold team members accountable for quality, consistency, and productivity standards
  • Personally create graphics, advertisements, promotional materials, and branded content as needed
  • Write, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms
  • Build and distribute email campaigns, promotional blasts, and marketing communications
  • Assist with website content updates, promotions, and landing page coordination
  • Provide creative direction and feedback on graphics, messaging, and campaigns
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with established brand standards and company voice
  • Support dealership locations with timely marketing requests and promotional needs
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and efficiency
  • Execute initiatives directed by the National Marketing Director
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, communication, and project execution
  • Step into projects directly during high-volume periods or when additional support is needed

Candidate Requirements

The right candidate for this role must have:

  • Experience leading or coordinating marketing projects and priorities
  • Strong graphic design and content creation abilities
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team
  • Attention to detail with strong editing and quality control abilities
  • Experience with marketing software, design platforms, and content scheduling tools

Preferred Qualifications

The right candidate may have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • 2+ years of marketing or creative experience
  • Experience supervising or mentoring team members
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and digital marketing strategy
  • Experience with Google Ads, SEMRush, email marketing platforms, or website management tools
  • Photography and videography experience, including editing
  • Comfort appearing in informal video or social media content when needed

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment at the corporate location in Decatur, TX. This is a fully in-office role and is not eligible for remote work. The role may require occasional travel to store locations for content capture and collaboration. This position routinely uses standard office equipment and technology, as well as cameras and editing software.

Physical Demands

  • Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for 50% or more of the time.
  • Computer Use: Constant operation of computer equipment, keyboarding, and mouse usage.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to read computer screens, analyze data, and review creative materials (near vision).
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in virtual meetings.
