Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders to design, plan, and execute MEP systems for both new developments and renovation projects.
- Carry out precise engineering calculations for load assessments, equipment selection, and capacity planning for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Specify suitable equipment, materials, and systems in compliance with project specifications, building codes, and sustainability/energy efficiency guidelines.
- Prepare, review, and validate MEP design drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD/Revit and related tools.
- Ensure proper coordination of MEP services with architectural, structural, and civil elements to eliminate clashes and achieve seamless integration.
- Evaluate and approve subcontractor shop drawings, material submissions, and construction methodologies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and verify that MEP works comply with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Support system testing, commissioning, and final handover to confirm functionality and adherence to performance requirements.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance and problem-solving expertise to site engineers and construction teams.
- Stay abreast of new trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP design, green building solutions, and energy-efficient systems.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of company standards, processes, and engineering procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- 8–10 years of solid experience in MEP design, supervision, and execution.
- Proven track record in managing residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design/engineering software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Valid GCC driving license required.
- Preferred age range: 30–35 years.
- Flexible, dynamic, and capable of working effectively under challenging conditions.
