MEP Quantity Surveyor

Results-driven MEP Quantity Surveyor with experience in cost estimation, quantity take-off, budgeting, contract administration, and project cost control for construction projects.

Skilled in coordinating with project teams, preparing BOQs, evaluating variations, and ensuring accurate commercial documentation while maintaining quality and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities for tendering and project execution.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
• Prepare monthly valuations, invoices, and payment certificates.
• Handle variations, claims, and change orders.
• Verify subcontractor bills and supplier invoices.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Track material quantities and project progress.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting project costs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for all commercial activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methods.
• Experience in quantity take-off and cost control.
• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation & takeoff software.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: Up to AED13,000.00 per month
