Minicab Operator - Taxi Service (London)

Outkom Enterprises has been a trusted partner of one of London’s largest taxi companies since 2012. We are currently seeking confident, articulate, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Customer Service Executives for our UK-based taxi business.

This role involves handling inbound customer calls, managing bookings, and supporting passengers using a real-time dispatch and tracking system. While prior experience in the taxi or travel industry is an advantage, we welcome applications from all candidates with strong communication skills and relevant call center experience.

Our office, located in the ARFA Software Technology Park, offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and a professional, supportive work environment. All selected candidates will undergo a paid training and assessment period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
  • Take bookings, reservations, and general inquiries
  • Manage customer travel and journey-related issues using real-time dispatch and tracking systems
  • Meet and maintain performance, productivity, and quality targets

Essential Requirements

  • Fluent English (familiarity with British accents preferred)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Computer-literate with strong keyboard skills
  • Previous call center and/or customer service experience
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours and shifts when required
  • High standards of punctuality, discipline, and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in taxi or travel booking services
  • Customer service experience in UK-based call centers
  • Working knowledge of cab dispatch systems (preferably Cordic)
  • Lived in the UK for 2 - 3 years

Standard Shift Timing (PST)

  • Day Shift: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
  • Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Working Days: 5 days per week
  • Shift Duration: 10 hours
