OHS Assistant

Job Title: OHS Assistant

Job Purpose:

To assist the OHS/HSE team in implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and supporting day-to-day safety operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and audits.
• Support in the identification of hazards, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Assist in conducting safety orientations and training sessions for employees.
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Monitor housekeeping, emergency exits, and fire safety equipment.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions, and near misses to the OHS Officer.
• Help in organizing safety drills (fire, evacuation, first aid).
• Coordinate with contractors and employees to ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Support in the implementation of health & safety policies and procedures.

Qualification & Skills:

• Intermediate / Diploma in Safety, Environment, or related field (NEBOSH / OSHA certification preferred).
• 0–2 years’ experience in a safety-related role (fresh candidates with training can also apply).
• Basic knowledge of occupational health & safety laws and regulations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a team and support the OHS department.

Working will be in rotational 12 hours shift, 1 week day and 1 week night (8+4)
