Operation Engineer – Interior & Fit-out

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out projects

2. Review drawings, BOQ, and project specifications prior to execution

3. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors

4. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, authority regulations, and client requirements

5. Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly work updates

6. Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for site execution

7. Ensure timely procurement and delivery coordination with purchase and stores team

8. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards

9. Identify and resolve site-related technical issues promptly

10. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals and inspections

11. Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site

12. Support preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation

13. Monitor project timelines and assist in achieving project milestones within budget

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Interior Design (or related field)

2. 2–5 years experience in interior fit-out or construction industry

3. Strong knowledge of interior systems (gypsum, joinery, MEP coordination, finishes)

4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

5. Good communication and coordination skills

6. Strong problem-solving and site management ability
