Operations Manager ( Fit out & Refurbishment )

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Membership in relevant engineering bodies (e.g., Society of Engineers – UAE) is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in MEP works, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in managing MEP works in high-rise building projects.
• Must have strong working experience in the UAE, including knowledge (DEWA, ADDC, DM, DCD, etc.) and approval processes.

Technical Skills:

• Full understanding of MEP systems: HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Drainage, and Electrical.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of sustainable systems and energy-efficient solutions (LEED / Estidama is a plus).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), MS Project, and other relevant software.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the complete MEP scope from start to handover.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with design, specifications, and authority regulations.
• Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Prepare progress reports, attend technical and coordination meetings.
• Monitor site activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Lead and manage the MEP team and subcontractors effectively.
• Oversee procurement, planning, drawings, technical submittals, design queries resolution, progress management, site supervision, and coordination with engineering, architectural, and construction teams.
