Pricing Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Pricing Executive to join our freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive freight quotations, negotiating rates with carriers, and supporting the sales team with accurate and timely pricing solutions across air, sea, and land shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage freight quotations for import/export shipments (Air, Sea & Land)
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and transporters to obtain competitive rates
• Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness
• Support the sales team with timely and accurate pricing for RFQs and tenders
• Liaise with operations team to ensure pricing feasibility and execution
• Handle customer inquiries related to pricing and shipment costs
• Monitor profitability and ensure margin targets are achieved
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or operations
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, freight cost structures, and logistics processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and freight software (e.g., Smart Cargo, CargoWise, etc.)
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling international shipments (FCL, LCL, Air Freight)
• Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations
• Existing network with carriers and agents
