Urgent Hiring: Product Development & Merchandising Lead (Knitwear Industrial)

Key Responsibilities: Product Development Define new knitwear concepts: conduct market & trend research. Lead the sampling process: create tech packs, specs, BOMs, lab dips, fittings, prototypes Oversee the Time & Action (T&A) calendar to ensure samples, approvals, and production hand offs are on schedule. Coordinate with vendors/suppliers: ensure raw materials (yarns, fabrics, trims) are delivered on time and meet quality requirements. Collaborate with design, buying, and production teams to plan seasonal assortments aligned with brand strategy. Manage the full product development cycle—concept → samples → approvals → production hand off. Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer expectations to guide product strategy. Review lab dips, fabrics, trims, and prototypes to ensure they reflect design intent and technical standards. Maintain accurate product data: tech packs, costing sheets, and PLM records Assist in fit sessions, communicate changes to suppliers and technical teams, and document updates. Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Merchandising, or a related field.

Experience: 3‑5 years in knitwear product development + merchandising (industrial knitwear preferred). Strong technical knowledge of knit fabrics, yarns, trims, garment construction.
