Education: Master’s degree in Library & Information Sciences, Education, Literature, Social Sciences, or related field.
Experience: 5–7 years of experience leading educational projects, preferably in literacy, library development, book adaptation, and publication initiatives.

Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day oversight and support to project teams, including district coordinators and field staff, ensuring smooth implementation of library establishment, book printing and distribution, literacy instruction development, and gender-focused literacy advocacy initiatives.
- Monitor ongoing field activities across project districts, including library operations, teacher trainings, distribution of storybooks, and impact evaluation activities, ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
- Plan, lead, and document technical and management meetings with RtR representatives, School Education Departments, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison between ITA, government departments (School Education Departments, Curriculum Authorities), and community-based partners.
- Support the financial management of the project, including budget planning, monitoring expenditures, and coordinating with finance and operations teams for timely approvals.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, for donors, management, and RtR technical teams.
- Coordinate monitoring, documentation, and dissemination of project activities, including photography, success stories, and other communications materials for advocacy and visibility.
- Support adaptation, translation, and distribution of storybooks across multiple languages, ensuring alignment with class-level reading needs and curriculum standards.
- Identify challenges in project delivery and develop timely, actionable solutions in collaboration with district teams and technical leads.
- Occasionally perform additional responsibilities as required to support project objectives.
- Review and approve work plans, progress reports, and outputs of project staff.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and deliverables from district teams.
- Directly supervise district coordinators, field staff, and consultants involved in library establishment, book distribution, literacy instruction, and gender-focused literacy advocacy initiatives.
- Approve staff work plans and ensure accountability for all assigned tasks.
- Maintain continuous communication with management, donor technical teams, donors, and government counterparts.
- Represent ITA in meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
- Prepare and present written and verbal reports, technical notes, and briefing documents
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in project planning, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, conflict management, and decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu; ability to develop reports, documentation, and donor communications.
- Proven ability to work effectively with government officials, donors, and civil society partners.
- Experience in managing multi-district teams and coordinating large-scale literacy or education initiatives.
- Familiarity with foundational learning frameworks, literacy assessment tools, and scope & sequence development is desirable.
- Ability to oversee content adaptation, translation, and publication of children’s reading materials.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project districts for field monitoring and support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
