Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work as focal person for the project and lead interventions in target district(s)

  • To ensure project planning, execution, and timely management all targets, deliverables and set goals,

  • Provide overall orientation and vision of project to all team members and partners

  • Responsible for liaoning in the targeted districts with government and other stakeholders,

  • Identify Youth, community leaders, local partners and assist them to provide support in project activities,

  • To engage local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) & NGOs for quality input and ensure outreach and scope of work.

  • Responsible to verify all the field work, documentation and data collected and/or reported.

  • Responsible for project related financial management and effective utilization of given resources

  • Enable and engage youth in entrepreneurship and self-employment for sustainable livelihood

  • Assist program and M&E sections for any field level support, as and when required,

  • To do budget tracking during the implementation of project

  • To comply with the organizational policies and procedures and code of conduct

  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor


Experience and Education:

  • At least 07 years’ project management experience in the non-government sector, ideally in youth empowerment, promote social harmony and Rule of Law projects/assignments.

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent relevant qualification

Skills & Competencies:


  • Conceptual understanding of Social Cohesion, Enterprise/ TVET Skills Development.

  • Knowledge and experience of advocacy campaigns on youth empowerment, promotion of social harmony and Rule of Law issues

  • Proficiency in English language, both in writing and verbal communication

  • Strong report writing skills

  • Substantial knowledge regarding the program implementation on field level

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)

  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations.

  • Ability to adapt within the working environment.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Adheres to strong ethical professional values
