What you will do?

Summary:

The Purchasing Executive – Casting supports the Senior Manager – Purchasing in optimizing the Casting supply chain through efficient sourcing, supplier qualification, and cost management. By collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams, the role ensures timely availability of high‑quality Casting components while mitigating risks and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• ssist in developing and executing strategic procurement plans for Casting materials in alignment with overall business and production goals.
• Support supplier sourcing, evaluation, and qualification to build a reliable, diversified, and high-performing supplier base.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth integration of Casting components into the manufacturing process.
• Contribute to cost‑saving initiatives and process optimization efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain performance.
• Help mitigate supply chain risks by identifying alternative suppliers and reducing dependency on single‑source vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement activities to maintain consistent quality and delivery standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ industrial/ metallurgical engineering.
• Minimum 0 -2 years of experience in the manufacturing or automotive/tractor industry.

Job-Specific/Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization in the Casting category.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to streamline procurement and production processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to supply chain efficiency improvements.
