QA/QC Engineer

Job Description:

We are urgently hiring experienced professionals for a major structural and landscaping project in Sharjah, UAE. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with project specifications, codes, and regulations.

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and method statements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship at the site.
• Maintain detailed quality records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with contractual quality requirements.
• Support project teams in conducting internal audits and external quality inspections.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified.
• Provide quality training, awareness, and support to site staff.
• Assist in preparing final quality documentation and project handover dossiers.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 –7 years of QA/QC experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in site inspections, quality audits, and compliance reporting.
• Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects (civil, mechanical, electrical) is preferred.
• Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ, CSWIP, AWS, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, codes, and regulations related to construction quality.
• Proficiency in QA/QC tools, documentation, and reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
