The Safety Officer participates in the implementation and maintenance of health &safety programs and associated quality policies and regulations across AIC.
QHSE system implementation

Implements and follow up of the daily Safety system requirements in accordance with the relevant standards and requirements.

Implements safety and health programs for different sections.

Assess safety and health best practices and communicate the concerns and suggestions with the operational staff and his manager.

Ensures compliance with all applicable local and regional health and safety regulations.

Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.

Participates in Safety and Health meetings indoors and outdoors

Collates and reports the safety results to the department heads and the safety manager
-
Checks appropriate maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.

Checks site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures appropriate to the works are provided and adequately maintained.

Assists in the Investigation of all accidents and dangerous occurrences and report in accordance with the Client requirements and Company's procedures.

Sets a high personal example of Health & Safety at all items.

Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls
