Job Title : Sales Coordinator – SDBL Logistics Solutions (Karachi)

SDBL Logistics Solutions is a freight forwarding and logistics company located near Hotel Metropole in Saddar, Karachi. We are seeking a Sales Coordinator based in Shadman Town, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, or Buffer Zone (only candidates living in these areas will be considered). Although the title is “Sales Coordinator,” this role focuses on office and coordination support rather than direct selling. You will assist our Sales/Operations team with daily administrative tasks, accompany the manager on field visits, and report on daily activities. The ideal candidate has logistics experience, owns a motorcycle, and is ready to handle on-the-road errands as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales/Operations Manager: Assist with daily office coordination, paperwork, and logistics tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Field Support: Accompany the manager on client visits, meetings, and shipment pickups/deliveries. Assist with any on-site tasks as needed.
• Errands and Travel: Perform routine errands (e.g., delivering documents, picking up packages) each workday using your personal motorcycle. Ensure timely and safe delivery of items.
• Documentation: Maintain and organize shipping and logistics documents (invoices, shipping forms, bills of lading, etc.), and update records or databases as directed.
• Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit clear daily reports summarizing activities, completed tasks, and any issues encountered to keep the manager informed.
• Communication: Coordinate with customers, partners, and team members to relay information and follow up on shipments or action items under the manager’s guidance.
• General Office Tasks: Provide general administrative support such as filing, copying, scheduling, and answering calls or emails as needed.
• Use of Motorbike: Use your motorcycle for official travel. (Company will cover fuel and routine maintenance expenses.)

Please note: This position does not involve direct sales or sales target responsibilities. It is an administrative support role within the sales/logistics department. We will provide on-the-job training and detailed task instructions to help you succeed.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is mandatory. (Experience with shipments, cargo documentation, or courier services is a plus.)
• Motorcycle Ownership: Must own a reliable motorcycle and be willing to ride it daily for job duties. The company provides an allowance for fuel and maintenance.
• Location: Residency in Shadman Town, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, or Buffer Zone is required. Candidates outside these areas will not be considered.
• Age: Applicants between 18 and 30 years old are encouraged to apply.
• Schedule: Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5-day workweek).
• Strong telephone manner and customer-service orientation.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning a CRM / TMS.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of freight terminology (AWB, HBL, BL, INCOTERMS basics) and shipment lifecycle.
• Education & Skills: No specific educational degree or software proficiency is required. We welcome all educational backgrounds and will provide any necessary training. Basic literacy and communication skills (reading, writing, speaking Urdu and/or English) are needed to perform daily tasks.
• Personal Qualities: The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and proactive, with good attention to detail. You should be punctual and able to follow instructions while also taking initiative on routine tasks.
