Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 1–2 years of experience to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential leads for our IT Staff Augmentation, Dedicated Development Teams, and IT Outsourcing services.
This role involves strategic outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up to connect with CTOs, Engineering Managers, and Founders who need to scale their tech teams quickly. You will collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Targeted Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn (social selling) to generate new business opportunities with companies looking to hire remote developers or outsource IT projects.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects to assess their hiring needs, technical requirements, and budget fit.
- Value Proposition: Clearly articulate the company’s service models (Staff Augmentation, Dedicated Teams, Project Outsourcing) to prospective clients, highlighting cost efficiency, talent quality, and time-to-hire.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule consultation calls, requirement gathering sessions, or discovery meetings for the Business Development Managers (BDMs) or Account Executives.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of lead interactions, hiring intent, and deal progress in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with campaigns targeting specific industries (e.g., FinTech, Healthcare, Logistics).
- KPI Achievement: Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs related to calls made, qualified meetings booked, and resource requirements generated.
- Market Feedback: Gather insights on in-demand tech stacks (e.g., Python, React, AWS), client pain points regarding hiring, and competitive feedback to share with the management team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience as an SDR, Inside Sales Executive, or Recruitment Consultant (IT Services/Staffing Agency experience is highly preferred).
- Tech Savviness: Basic understanding of software development terminologies (e.g., Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA) and popular technology stacks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to speak confidently with C-level technical executives.
- Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and lead generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, resilience in handling rejection, and a persuasive personality.
- Mindset: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and organized, with a hunger to learn about the global IT labor market.
