Position Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling all meat and poultry products offered by the butchery—both in-store and online. This includes building lasting customer relationships, developing local and digital marketing strategies, increasing sales volume, and ensuring product presentation and hygiene meet UAE market standards.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on sales skills, marketing creativity, and digital awareness to grow both walk-in and online business channels, representing the company’s commitment to quality, trust, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Direct Sales & Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers, provide product knowledge, and recommend suitable meat cuts or package deals.
- Promote meats (e.g., lamb, beef, camel, poultry) and specialty products such as marinated, organic, or imported selections.
- Process customer orders, weigh and label products accurately, and ensure smooth POS and payment transactions.
- Build repeat clientele through personal attention, follow-up calls, WhatsApp communication, and loyalty programs.
- Handle wholesale, catering, and institutional client orders and coordinate deliveries.
2. Marketing & Promotions (Offline & Online)
- In-Store Marketing:
- Design and implement promotions, bundle offers, and seasonal campaigns (e.g., Eid, Ramadan, National Day).
- Coordinate with management on shelf and counter displays to attract customers.
- Track sales performance per promotion and report ROI and footfall impact.
- Digital & Online Marketing:
- Support the company’s online butchery platform or online store by uploading new products, updating descriptions, and ensuring prices are accurate.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to post daily offers, cooking tips, and product visuals on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business.
- Respond to customer messages, inquiries, and orders from social media, WhatsApp, or website chat systems.
- Assist in content creation—such as product photos, short videos, or live sessions showing meat preparation and freshness.
- Encourage customers to leave online reviews and testimonials to build brand credibility.
- Community & Brand Engagement:
- Represent the butchery at local markets, community events, and exhibitions to build awareness.
- Network with restaurant owners, chefs, and catering businesses to promote bulk and partnership sales.
- Participate in outreach initiatives with local charities or institutions (aligned with company CSR programs).
3. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and actively pursue new sales channels.
- Suggest marketing and pricing strategies based on market trends, competitor monitoring, and customer preferences.
- Identify high-demand products, seasonal buying patterns, and opportunities for new product introduction.
- Coordinate with management to develop referral or loyalty programs to increase repeat customers.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a database of customer contacts for SMS or email marketing campaigns.
4. Product Handling & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of the display area, counters, cutting tools, and packaging zones.
- Ensure all meat is properly labeled with country of origin, weight, and halal certification.
- Keep temperature logs and storage compliance according to UAE Municipality and MOCCAE regulations.
- Adhere to health, safety, and halal requirements at all times.
5. Reporting & Communication
- Submit daily sales and marketing reports to the manager.
- Provide weekly updates on social media performance, customer feedback, and online engagement metrics.
- Report low stock items, customer complaints, or any operational issues immediately.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and warehouse staff to ensure order accuracy and timely dispatch.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma or coursework in Sales, Marketing, or E-commerce preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in butchery, meat retail, or FMCG sales (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Proven track record in both physical and digital sales.
- Experience using social media or e-commerce platforms for business promotion.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong product knowledge of various meats and halal standards.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (Instagram, Facebook Business Suite, Google My Business, Shopify, or similar).
- Good command of English; Arabic, Urdu, or Hindi is a plus.
- Accuracy in weighing, pricing, and invoicing.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and professional in appearance.
Preferred Certifications:
- UAE Food Handling Certificate / Health Card.
- Social Media Marketing or Digital Sales training certificate (optional).
