Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the chemical industry market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Understand customer needs and provide technical/product guidance where required.
- Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales strategies.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and new products in the chemical sector.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Ensure timely payment collections and resolve customer queries efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in sales, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial chemicals and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and market development.
