Job Title: Sales Executive – Truck Dispatching

Reports to: Sales Manager / Dispatch Operations Manager


Job Summary:

The Sales Executive for Truck Dispatching is responsible for acquiring new business, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between clients and the dispatching team. This role involves cold calling potential clients, understanding their logistics needs, and providing effective solutions. The Sales Executive should have strong communication skills, be able to handle multiple client needs at once, and be proactive in driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients in need of truck dispatch services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Presentations: Meet with prospective clients to explain services, demonstrate the benefits of using the dispatch service, and negotiate contracts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels in alignment with company policies and customer needs.
  • Dispatch Coordination: Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure that shipments are processed and delivered according to the client’s requirements and schedule.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay competitive.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, provide regular reports to senior management, and identify areas for improvement in service delivery and sales strategy.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to shipments, billing, or service disruptions in a timely manner.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure all leads are followed up on, sales inquiries are answered, and prospects are converted into long-term clients.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or dispatching industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and manage long-term relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of dispatching, transportation logistics, or fleet management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.


Eligibility:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 6 months of experience in related field.
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Male/Female both can apply.
