 As Business development Manager you will be part of a larger team within the Sales department, responsible for providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business growth in Kuwait through promoting freight services, gaining new business, developing/retaining existing customers.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:

 Responsible for local business development by acquiring new accounts and developing market share with existing customers to an agreed annual target

 Prepares a BD plan and manages the sales cycle, consistently monitors, and achieves set targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages the on-boarding of new accounts to ensure fulfillment of all requirements and smooth assimilation
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.

 Prepares prompt and precise presentations, plans, and communication exchanges with prospect customers
 </li>

 Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers

 Key Responsibilities

 Take full ownership of the assigned product portfolio (protection devices) across all sales channels in Kuwait (Channel Partners, Distributors, Agents, System Integrators, OEM Partners).

 Identify, onboard, and develop new sales channels and partners to strengthen market reach.

 Develop and implement effective sales strategies, contributing to both departmental and Business Unit objectives.

 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize Salesforce for planning, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively support tendering processes, including RFQ analysis, proposal building, and LoA (Limits of Authority) reviews.

 Provide early risk assessments and value-based insights to maximize win probability and margin quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities, ensuring the business maintains a competitive advantage.

 Monitor the Business Unit portfolio and anticipate customer needs to shape market-driven strategies.

 Collaborate closely with the Business Unit to build strong product and solutions knowledge within the sales organization.

 Qualifications &amp; Skills &ndash; Digital and Solid:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or similar roles within the Kuwait market or regional power/industrial sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record in Sales &amp; Marketing, Tendering, Project Management, and Site Execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced experience and strong technical command of protection relays including configuration, application engineering, testing support, and fault analysis. Ability to guide customers on protection philosophies, setting coordination, and application across feeders, transformers, generators, motors, and busbars.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of protection integration within digital substations, including IEC 61850, RTU/HMI systems, redundancy concepts, and coordination with EPCs and utilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in fault analysis, relay coordination, FAT/SAT support, and troubleshooting during commissioning and operation stages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong ability to analyze customer RFQs, develop high-quality proposals, and clearly understand technical needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of technical specifications from MEW, KNPC, KOC, JO, or similar major customers in Kuwait.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of the LoA process and related commercial approval workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with customers, partners, and internal teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong teamwork skills, with proven experience collaborating across local teams, cross-Business Units, and international stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of organizational change dynamics and ability to drive/support change initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced knowledge of compliance, ethical business conduct, and regulatory requirements.
 </li>

 Solid understanding of information security standards and compliant usage of digital tools.
