In this role as a Standards &amp; Procedures Specialist (EKAS) &ndash; Emiratisation, you will be responsible for providing support for reviewing and updating all Manuals (Passenger Services, Ground Operations, Aircraft Cleaning &amp; Cabin Dressing and Freighter Weight &amp; Balance Manuals) in accordance with the Industry and Emirates Standards so that all EK flights and passengers are handled in a safe, efficient and consistent manner. As a Standards &amp; Procedures Specialist, you will also be accountable for authoring of standard operating procedures and work instructions at Passenger Services at the Hub.
In this role you will:
In accordance with industry/regulatory changes and in response to operational concerns/feedback, maintain the Ground Operations Manual (GOM), Aircraft Cleaning and Cabin Dressing Guide (AC&amp;CDG), Passenger Service Manual (PSM), Freighter Weight &amp; Balance Manual (FW&amp;BM) and all other networkwide operational manuals covering safety, security and regulatory aspects, ensuring timely distribution and ascertaining that instructions are effectively followed by Ground Service Providers network-wide. Also, ensure preparation and timely communication of network bulletins, updates and circulars which affect the safety and security of Emirates operations throughout all airports network wide.

</li>Support Mercator Airline Check-in System (MACS) stations, including non Centralised Load Control (non-CLC) locations within Emirates network to produce Aircraft Communication Addressing &amp; Reporting System (ACARS) load sheet as necessary and to ensure that the correct weight report is used to prepare the load sheet by dnata Load Control Officers (LCO) by frequent checks. Undertake User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all MACS enhancements to be promoted by Emirates Airport Systems and test the feasibility of such entries and their overall benefit to the user community MACS network wide.

</li>Review the Emirates Performance Reports (EPR), investigate discrepancies including those pertaining to Weight &amp; Balance and Ramp handling, in liaison with all relevant Airport Services &amp; SkyCargo Managers, initiate &amp; obtain corrective actions with the station concerned &amp; relevant stakeholders to prevent a recurrence. Establish trends in operational non-conformities and service failures, with evaluation of root causes and recommend preventive measures and make required adjustments to manuals and processes as a result. Respond with guidance to requests from outstations on matters involving local issues or problems which require clarity and/or direction from Head Office, so that stations are given the information they need, in a timely fashion.

</li>Design, revise, develop and arrange for the printing of passenger service operational forms and stationary items, especially when new aircraft and/or new stations are introduced. This stationery conforms to International Air Transport Association (IATA) International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards, so that the highest level of safety and security within ground operations/passenger service is maintained.

</li>Responsible for maintaining the Airport Information Repository (AIR) for Airport Services for operating various aircraft types to each airport throughout the network by considering the facilities including engineering equipment at stations. Coordinate with Emirates Engineering to prepare Seat Selection Charts (SSCs) for all new aircraft types entering the fleet and update the existing SSCs for any reconfigured aircrafts.

</li>Ensure that semi-permanent Electronic Data Processing (EDP) data for each aircraft in the fleet is updated and advised to the network, so that accurate data is used for the preparation of Weight &amp; Balance documents and check in systems. Ensure by random checks that stations are following the directives given by Airport Services Head Office pertaining to Aircraft Communication Addressing &amp; Reporting System (ACARS) load sheet, automated Estimate Zero Fuel Weight) (EZFW) to Lufthansa Integrated Dispatch Operations (LIDO) and SkyChain interface to MACS/Altea FM (Flight Management).

</li>Prepare instructions for the handling of HAJ/UMRAH passengers, based on the rules and regulations issued as a circular by the Saudi Arabia authorities and disseminate to the network and other relevant departments. Liaise with procurement and stores to ensure sufficient stationery is in stock. Liaise with Airport Services Manager JED for the procurement of landing cards and issue instructions for loading.

</li>Provide support to identify changes within Emirates and the industry in general which require the development and implementation of new passenger handling methods and recommend appropriate action to be taken, so that Emirates retains its competitive edge and minimize risk. Ensure all new and revised governmental policies i.e. Passport, Visa, Customs and Health requirements received from network stations, including Dubai Government, are forwarded to the Editing team to update relevant information on electronic Travel Information Manual (TIMATIC) and hard copies (TIM) pages and verify changes to local customs and regulations from Immigration, Emirates Security and Embassies/Consulates. Coordinating with TIMATIC Editing team on matters relating to improving/simplifying the content of TIMATIC/TIM pages to benefit those accessing it.

</li>As delegated, responsible for ensuring all ad hoc projects are well handled in collaboration with other stakeholders involved. Ensure current procedures and processes are evaluated and stakeholders are notified of change in business rules of all ad hoc projects.

</h5>To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
<ul><li>Hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).

<div>MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To maximise the daily utilisation of resources and provide a daily resource allocation plan by optimally allocating the key operational resources (including manpower, equipment, and facilities). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Ensures the daily availability of adequate qualified staff to meet the requirements of the operations, considering all aspects of manpower planning calculations based on the scheduled and unscheduled tasks.</li><li>
Communicates real time updates directly to Airport staff ensuring work is conducted as efficient as possible and reallocates tasks as required.</li><li>
Keeps track of all teams on shift (schedules, locations, etc.) as well as all leave allocations, absences etc.</li><li>
Reviews and ensures that all overtime related information is updated in resource management system.</li><li>
Provides input into the scenario analysis testing (what-if) and monitors the execution of manpower optimisation initiatives whilst acting as technical liaison between vendor and IT (with regards to the planning rostering, pre-planning and real time control (RTC) systems).</li><li>
Provides input into resource requirements/business cases prepared by the department for additional, replacement resources keeping in view the yearly budget plan, KPIs and other parameters.</li><li>
Implements unscheduled manpower plans to cater for high demand scenarios and provides feedback on its execution.</li><li>
Provides a 24&ndash;72-hour shift plans taking into account expected demands, schedules and roster resources while accounting for any unplanned situations (sicknesses, flight diversions etc.).</li><li>
Improves operational efficiency and productivity by utilizing specialist knowledge of the decision support system (resource management system (RMS), Real-time control (RTC), check-in system DCS, or third-party management system, etc.)</li><li>
Ensures smooth handover for staff whose shift has ended and those who have begun their shifts.</li><li>
Monitors shortage in manpower due to absenteeism-leaves and liaise with section supervisors to adjust allocation of available resources to cover all passenger services activities and avoid delays.</li><li>
Evaluates feedback from real time control (RTC)/statistics reports on engagement rule variations and utilise information t review and recommends revised engagement standards this will help in an optimised plan-deliver review cycle.</li><li>
Prepares and maintains all regular/ad hoc reports pertaining to the KPI, short and long terms manpower status/requirements, engagement rules and master rosters on a weekly, monthly basis for senior management make informed resource and manpower related decisions.</li></ul>

As an EK Network ULD Officer , you will work on shift basis, control ULD and accessory movements across all Emirates online and offline stations in order to achieve maximum payload uplift in a timely manner.
In this role, you will;
<ul><li>Act independently on shift, ensuring adequate station stocks (forecasting) of ULD and accessories are maintained, taking decisions for immediate correction of imbalances. This includes managing the transfer of adequate stocks to start-up stations. Pay special attention to the hub, including peak hour baggage requirements.
</li><li>Co-ordinate with SkyCargo for meeting daily requirements of specialized ULDs across the network, leasing units where necessary and planning utilization so as to minimize idle time and demurrage due to late return to the leasing companies.
</li><li>The role holder will manage on daily basis the service level agreement with DNATA Technical Services, ensuring ULD deliveries from assembly and repair match network requirements. Provides the Manager ULD Logistics (EK) with monthly trends on repair expenses, recommending corrective action.
</li><li>Maintain close relationships with the IATA ULD group for regular interline transfer of ULDs to cater to EK network needs, ensuring timely return of other carrier ULDs to minimize demurrage charges. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of ULDs technical specifications and features and an in-depth knowledge of Load Processing and Handling, Cargo &amp; Mail Handling, IATA Dangerous Goods handling and Weight &amp; Balance procedures.
</li><li>PC literate and competent with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web based applications and all other EK software packages.
</li><li>Must be familiar with aircraft safety and security procedures and must be well versed with the approved ULD configurations for all aircraft types in the Emirates fleet. Must also be familiar with airline Passenger and Baggage handling procedures.
</li><li>Must have excellent working knowledge of Nomad or similar ULD Management system.
