We are presently seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager for our residential manufactured home community located in Holland, MI, who will perform administrative duties under the supervision of a Community Manager.
As a successful Assistant Community Manager, you will:<ul><li>
Greet all customers with a polite, professional demeanor.</li><li>
Answer community office telephone calls promptly and professionally, provide requested information for telephone inquiries.</li><li>
Develop and maintain community relationships.</li><li>
Use Microsoft Office to produce and present documents.</li><li>
Assist the Community Manager in entering data into the management software program.</li><li>
Assist the Community Manager in completing guest cards and entering lead information in the Link System. &ldquo;Leads&rdquo; include but are not limited to people interested in purchasing Bayshore Homes or Bayshore Brokered Homes, moving a home into the community and etc.</li><li>

Inventory, order and verify receipt of office supplies. Coordinate maintenance of office equipment to ensure continuous customer sales and service.

Work in conjunction with the Community Manager in new and used home sales. Present homes to potential residents as needed.</li><li>
Ensure residents&rsquo; privacy and property preservation.</li><li>
Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements to protect the interest of the company and to avoid discrimination of residents, vendors and team members.

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in our community. You will have the mojo and constantly work to improve our community&rsquo;s operations. As our Assistant Community Manager, you will be expected to:<ul><li>

Address matters involving residents and their needs.</li><li>

Handle all AR.
</li><li>Help ensure that invoices are processed (manager specific).</li><li>
Maintain and review individual resident lease file documents for accuracy.</li><li>
Ensure vendor documents meet compliance requirements.</li><li>
Reconcile property accounts monthly.</li><li>
Process move-ins and move-outs.</li><li>
Leasing activity - phone calls, emails, touring, and leasing apartments.</li><li>

2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Bookkeeping role in multifamily housing.</li><li>

Responsibilities?
<ul><li>
As an Assistant Community Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Community Manager with managing the day-to-day operations of your assigned community, exemplifying Carter-Haston's management philosophy based on our Five Basic Fundamentals of Successful Property Management, and maintaining resident accounts</li><li>
Responsible for collecting and posting rent payments and fees; collecting and managing delinquencies; and enforcing policies and procedures outlined in the lease to maximize revenue for the community</li><li>
Assist in updating and maintaining records for move ins/outs, application status, traffic activity, closing rations, and others as assigned</li><li>
Act as the on-site supervisor in absence of the Community Manager by delegating daily work, coordinating maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor, and manage the daily operations of the community in compliance with company policies and procedures</li><li>
Assist with developing and tracking social media campaigns and marketing strategies</li><li>
Conduct prospective community and apartment tours as needed</li><li>
