Assistant Site Manager, reporting to the Site Manager, is responsible in supporting the Site Manager for managing and supervising the operations staff which include shift supervisors, operators for one of the BHIG facilities. Assistant Site Manager will support the Site Manager of day-to-day operations which include, insuring daily operational targets are achieved, and interfacing with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the site.
Principal Accountabilities:

Meet the customer&rsquo;s satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility on product supply.</li><li>
Responsible for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the established operating procedures and written or oral instructions from Superintendent.</li><li>
Ensure that maintenance notifications in SAP are carried out correctly. Verify SAP notification on field and approved with basic data i.e. functional location, malfunction description, damage code, priority, and hazard information.</li><li>
Participate in pre-work visits with Maintenance and Contractors to identify risk activities.</li><li>
Ensure each work permit related documents are prepared and handed over to the team.</li><li>
Participate in preparing maintenance or process shutdowns and turnarounds i.e. scope of works, prioritization of notifications (define consequences of malfunctions in terms of sector availability).</li><li>
Participate in area daily meeting and share the maintenance plan with team to ensure all equipment&rsquo;s are prepared for scheduled maintenance works (corrective and preventive).</li><li>
Participate in maintenance plan daily meetings with the Maintenance Leader and Planners to analyze daily notifications, and to contribute to the updating of the weekly maintenance schedule.</li><li>
Ensure equipment&rsquo;s readiness for maintenance activity and after completion back to operations.</li><li>
Manage and organize regular equipment testing and routine preventive Maintenance.</li><li>
Participate in the marking priority maintenance activities to guarantee the reliability and operational continuity of equipment and to agree the date of repair.</li><li>
Release and ensure all work permit precautions and required conditions are fulfilled, maximize safe work permit practices by healthy communication &amp; frequent site visits, ensure zero permit deviation</li><li>

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications 
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering a minimum.
 
10 years minimum in gas, petrochemical, or related industries in operations, engineering, and/or maintenance function. Air Separation and /or Steam Methane Reformer Operations a plus. 
6+ years in line supervision of process operations roles. 
Proven coordination experience in a multi team environment which includes operations, engineering, and maintenance. 
Good leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively throughout all levels within the organization and externally. 
Promotes a &lsquo;one team&rsquo; environment 
Ability to communicate and manage customer interactions on a daily basis.
 
Wide technical knowledge in operations, engineering, and maintenance activities.
