 We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as an Automation Engineer (AE).
 
 
 The focus of the AE role is to fault find, troubleshoot and improve controls solutions for automated material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, scales, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, and control cabinets. The AE will also provide training to the Engineering Technicians on device troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
 
 
 Key job responsibilities

 Be the site level Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all controls systems and sensors within the building. Work in a hands-on manner to actively monitor, fault find and repair systems in order to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.

 Train technicians in the basics of control systems fault finding in order to raise the level of knowledge within the site.

 Work within the AMET Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing.

 Actively participate in or own continuous improvement projects coordinated by the AMET Controls network.

 Identify suitable service bulletins, modifications and recommendations for clients to improve their performance, availability, reliability and safety.

 Present and discuss technical solutions during internal and external meetings.

 Provide EN support directly on site at Power Plants as and when required. Provide recommendations and advice to support the Field Service organization and ensure smooth outage execution.

 Active participation required during post outage reviews to identify possible Modification &amp; Upgrade opportunities and to identify key lessons learnt for the future.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a key point of Contact / focal point for technical issues within the Country / Region. This could relate to outage interval extension, operational issues, commissioning, combustion tuning, performance tests, balancing, risk assessments and root cause analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact and reach out for support from a worldwide network of specialists and experts within Siemens Energy covering the Gas Turbines.

 What You Bring
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor, Master or comparable engineering degrees on Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
 </li>
 <li>
 1 to 5 years of experience on SE Gas Turbines (commissioning, fact findings, operation).
 </li>
 <li>
 Recent Engineering graduate is encouraged to apply
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic knowledge on Gas Turbine technology especially on SGT 5 8000 H /SGT 5 4000 F
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic knowledge on manufacturing and repair technologies
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaboration and networking skills are crucial to performing this role.
