A Buyer must have thorough knowledge of seasonal trends and sales potential for a designated category. Budgets are set twice a year, and a Buyer must work within the approved budget. This position requires thorough planning and procures goods up to a year in advance. Buyers must maintain organized records for orders placed and work closely with the Receiving Leads to ensure product is received and merchandised correctly. Products should be placed on the floor with seasonal relevance in mind, utilizing teamwork to ensure everything is completed on time. When working in teams to display new merchandise, the Buyer must collaborate well with others and allow for creative ideas outside of their own.</p><p>
