The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing carpentry and painting works, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety standards on site.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform carpentry works including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures, furniture, doors, and fittings</li><li>Carry out painting works including surface preparation, priming, and finishing (walls, ceilings, wood, and metal surfaces)</li><li>Read and interpret drawings and work instructions</li><li>Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment</li><li>Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times</li><li>Coordinate with supervisors and other team members for task completion</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Carpenter and/or Painter</li><li>Execute carpentry works including joinery, furniture installation, cabinets, doors, and fit-out elements</li><li>Perform painting works for walls, ceilings, wood, and furniture finishes</li><li>Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, polishing, and priming</li><li>Carry out furniture painting, varnishing, staining, and polishing with high-quality finishes</li><li>Ability to handle tools, machines, and materials safely</li><li>Physically fit and able to work in various site conditions</li><li>Basic understanding of safety standards</li><li>GCC experience is an advantage</li><li>Interpret drawings and specifications for fit-out project</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Work may be performed at commercial buildings and occupied facilities</li><li>Requires standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working at heights when necessary</li><li>Exposure to dust, paint fumes, and noise</li><li>May require flexible working hours, overtime, or shift work depending on project requirements</li><li>Work under supervision and must comply with company and site safety regulations</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR2,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1liMWQuxfNWVNNQ3egXpOOgiEg8xeM0VL4XRP76xwoTo/edit</li></ul>Work Location: In person

 you are responsible for all decoration maintenance repair works related to the fabric of the hotel building e.g. wall papering, painting and decorating.

 Your day-to-day
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Carry out all preparation works and decorate all ceilings and walls within the property
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and decorate all woodwork e.g. doors, architrave&rsquo;s, window and skirting boards
 </li>
 <li>
 Strip and prepare all walls to take new wall paper as and when instructed to do so
 </li>
 <li>
 Repair and maintain existing wall coverings
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for all decorating jobs as directed by your superiors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the vendor in order to modify colours of paint, stain, or varnish.
 </li>
 <li>
 Take care of the area when the front of the house area-painting job is being carried out.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for maintaining property colour scheme specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for maintaining and match shades of particular areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
