Position Summary:</b></p><p>
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized <b>Research Assistant</b> to support research activities through accurate data entry, record maintenance, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established workflows while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in early childhood education or related settings is a plus, as is comfort working with databases, survey tools, and other evolving systems. Position Key Accountabilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide reliability status on various objective and subjective coding analysis measures pertaining to projects within the department.</li><li>
Perform cognitive/social/emotional assessments with children and additional interviews with teachers and families which include an extensive battery of psychological and educational based evaluations and manage appropriate research equipment and supplies.</li><li>
Perform observational evaluations performed in schools and classrooms and focus on cognitive readiness activities by means of a complex live coding scheme.</li><li>
Work on a range of data and information including but not limited to transferring, verifying, entering, processing, management and analysis.</li><li>
Attend relevant trainings and assist in recruiting subjects (teachers, students, families, and individuals) and obtaining informed consent from potential research study participants. This often occurs in parent teacher meetings and sometimes in a family&rsquo;s home.</li><li>

The NOC I also provides assistance/support for: coordinating administrative activities related to assigned projects/programs; event planning and implementation; managing the project/program logistics; coordinating meetings, conferences, educational activities, and other related events; developing and dissemination of program/project materials; communication for project/program; data collection, collating, and reporting; and the coordination of and/or development and maintenance of databases to support program/project activities. Additionally the NOC I may assist in: conducting literature reviews to support project/program activities; and maintaining websites related to assigned project/program.<br>

The NOC I assists in providing administrative support to the department and actively supports/assists facilitation of departmental operations and goal attainment.<br>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:<br>
a.High School Diploma with 10 plus (10+) years applicable experience; OR<br>
b.Associate Degree with four plus (4+) years applicable experience; OR<br>
c.Bachelors Degree with two (2) years applicable experience.
<br>
<br>
Work Experience: Applicable experience includes advanced secretarial or office management. Medical/educational work environment preferred. Program/project management experience preferred.

<br>
Equipment Operated: Various office equipment: fax machines, computers, printers, copiers, scanners, etc.<br>
