Job Description:
The Clinical Research Coordinator obtains human subject data for clinical research activities via methods specified in the study protocol and performs general administrative duties supporting the study. 
Job Duties:

Provides independent inpatient and outpatient medical care for all patients requiring implantation of a cardiac assist device including patients awaiting heart transplant or those having a device implanted as a permanent treatment option. This includes completion of admission H&amp;Ps, completion of daily progress notes, completion of discharges as well as all necessary clinical documentation within the outpatient setting.</li><li>
Is a member of the cardiac transplant team and is the primary physician extender for the transplant cardiologist and cardiothoracic transplant surgeons for heart transplant and VAD candidates or those with implantable VAD devices.</li><li>
Responsible for patient presentations and development of the assessment and medical plan to the multidisciplinary team as a function of daily multidisciplinary rounds.</li><li>
Provision of on call patient coverage for acute patient needs via the VAD Hotline phone.</li><li>
Serves as a content expert in the development of policy, educational material, and provision of educational in-services to medial staff.</li><li>
Participates in activities designed to promote The Texas Transplant Center and Heart Failure programs, internally and externally, to include participation in outreach events.</li><li>

<div>40% Demonstrates efficiency with financial transactions for consumer/ business accounts and loans; accurately processes cash and negotiable items as presented or requested; confirms intended transactions with members, non-members, or guest members to ensure needs are met while maintaining high-quality standards</div>
<div></div>
<div>20% Balances cash drawer throughout the day and at the end of the shift to ensure transaction accuracy and maintain compliance; notifies supervisor of any outages as soon as they are realized to commence proper audit and research</div>
<div></div>
<div>15% Maintains a working knowledge of products and services to then provide appropriate recommendations to members as the opportunity arises; adheres to prescribed individual baselines and assisting with branch baselines.</div>
<div></div>
<div>10% Provides dual control support for all in-branch cash machines to include the daily maintenance, cash replenishment (if applicable), required balancing, and support for the following: cash recyclers, coin machines, coin dispensers, cash counters, and ATMs.</div>
<div></div>
<div>10% Provides support for teller transactions, including check hold review, account overrides, complex transaction handling, and support for escalated account requests.</div>
<div></div>
<div>5% Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves member inquiries; handles other duties as assigned.</div>

<ul><li>Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.</li></ul>
