Your role</b></h2><p><b>
Contract Administration</b></p><ul><li>
Administer and manage the main contract and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with the Contract's terms and conditions, including FIDIC-based provisions.</li><li>
Review contractor submissions, claims, and payment applications for accuracy and contractual alignment.</li></ul><p><b>
Change &amp; Claims Management</b></p><ul><li>
Lead the evaluation and negotiation of variations, claims, and change orders.</li><li>
Support the preparation and substantiation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims in coordination with Planning and Project Controls teams.</li><li>
Maintain a robust change management log and ensure timely resolution of commercial issues.</li></ul><p><b>
Cost Control &amp; Forecasting</b></p><ul><li>
Monitor project budgets and expenditures across the assigned package.</li><li>
Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections for internal and client reporting.</li><li>
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.</li></ul><p><b>
Procurement &amp; Subcontractor Coordination</b></p><ul><li>
Support procurement strategies and subcontractor engagement processes.</li><li>
Ensure commercial terms are aligned with project delivery requirements and risk profiles.</li><li>
Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with commercial obligations.</li></ul><p><b>
Risk &amp; Performance Monitoring</b></p><ul><li>
Identify and manage commercial risks, including exposure to delays, scope changes, and disputes.</li><li>
Track KPIs related to cost, contract compliance, and financial performance.</li><li>
Provide input to monthly progress reports and executive dashboards.</li></ul><p><b>
Stakeholder Engagement</b></p><ul><li>
Act as the commercial point of contact for the assigned package, liaising with the client, contractors, and internal teams.</li><li>
Support coordination with technical, planning, and construction teams to ensure commercial alignment with delivery strategies.</li><li>
Participate in commercial meetings, reviews, and audits.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
About you</b></h2><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).</li><li>
Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial management of large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in rail or transport.</li><li>
Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and preferably UAE construction law.</li><li>
Proficiency in cost management tools and reporting systems.</li><li>
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
