The Opportunity

This is a senior client-facing and business development opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits professional with a strong understanding of the UAE corporate insurance market and established relationships across the business community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing Nexus&rsquo; Employee Benefits and Group Medical portfolio, with a particular focus on corporate accounts across sectors such as multinational organisations, government-related entities and oil &amp; gas.

A key requirement for this role is an existing and transferable book of corporate Employee Benefits / Group Health business that can be developed and onboarded to Nexus.

Depending on experience and seniority, the role may encompass a combination of business development, strategic client relationship management and portfolio oversight.

Key Responsibilities

<li>Act as a strategic relationship manager for assigned clients, ensuring consistently high levels of service, engagement and retention.</li>
<li>Conduct detailed client needs assessments and develop tailored Employee Benefits solutions, including Group Medical, Group Life and related employee benefit covers.</li>
<li>Work closely with insurers, underwriters and relevant stakeholders to negotiate competitive terms, pricing, coverage and service arrangements.</li>
<li>Lead and manage the full renewal cycle, including market benchmarking, remarketing, insurer negotiations and placement.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across Nexus&rsquo; wider insurance and employee benefits portfolio.</li>
<li>Liaise with insurers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to address and resolve escalated claims, service and operational issues.</li>
<li>Stay informed on developments within the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market and provide clients with relevant market insight.</li>
<li>Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business development activity, opportunities and portfolio performance.</li>
<li>Ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable UAE insurance regulations, regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.</li>

What We&rsquo;re Looking For

We are looking for a commercially driven Employee Benefits professional who combines strong technical knowledge with established corporate relationships and a consultative approach to business development.

Essential Experience &amp; Qualifications

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is required.</li>
<li>5&ndash;10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits, Group Medical Insurance or corporate insurance broking.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market.</li>
<li>Practical knowledge of Group Medical and Employee Benefits solution design, placement and renewal.</li>
<li>An existing, transferable book of corporate Employee Benefits / Group Health business.</li>
<li>Established relationships and experience working with multinational, government-related and/or oil &amp; gas sector organisations.</li>
