<b>What will I be doing?</b><br>
The Commercial Manager is responsible for developing a commercial strategy covering all segments and channels to maximize total revenue and profit performance of the hotel.<br>
This role will drive the planning and execution of the commercial strategy and activity through supporting the Revenue management team, Sales, Group, Conference and Events and Marketing teams, through working effectively with area support teams. The Commercial Manager is a role model for the commercial community and develops teams and individuals in these functions whilst being a member of Hotel Executive Committee, and a key business partner to the Hotel General Manager.<br>
The Commercial Manager&rsquo;s role is key to seize new opportunities through strong customer relations and works as an Ambassador for the company with our Owners and Key Stakeholders.The role ensures that commercial management strategies are set for all revenue streams and that all systems are used to their full potential to yield the highest possible amount of revenue from all available space, whether in Rooms, Meeting Space, outlets or other revenue departments.

The Commercial Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

<li>Prepare, analyse and write reports to outline business progress and opportunities</li>
<li>Assist with the account diagnostics process and validate conclusions for negotiated business and on-line sales strategies</li>
Evaluate market demand by utilising available reports <li>- both internal and external, including market share, market conditions, competitive pricing</li>
<li>Generate periodic updates on transient booking patterns</li>
<li>Recruiting, manage, train and develop the Commercial team</li>
<li>Directly accountable for driving the Top line Budget and Forecast by implementing a commercial strategy and business plan through to execution using the Hilton Commercial Focus process and all available business tools and intelligence available.</li>
<li>Deliver as a minimum the budgeted revenues across all revenue streams,</li>
<li>To include but not limited; All Rooms, GC&amp;E, F&amp;B, Leisure and Spa with a control on cost of sale, route to market, channel shift and marketing / Ecommerce opportunities.</li>
<li>Work with the GM, Finance and Operations Director to ensure profits are maximized in line with TGOP and EBITDA targets set.</li>
<li>Ensure Business Review Guidelines (current to + 5 years) all Pricing &amp; Rate Quotation Strategies are in place in order to maximize all pricing components of sales and catering opportunities and achieve positive group market share.</li>
<li>Support various On Property, RDOS&rsquo;s, and Area Marketing teams in coordinating hotel level marketing, sales and public relations activities.</li>
<li>Liaise with regional support and brand teams to provide maximum benefit to hotel performance.</li>
<li>Support the Cluster Revenue Managers/On Property Revenue Manager and RMCC to establish an optimal mix, review and validate forecasts, develop strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, Hilton matrix support teams to ensure commercial benefits of the hotel.</li>
<li>Liaise with VP of Operations, presents commercial strategies to Regional Team and key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Consistently conforms to Hilton brand standards and corporate identity and utilizes all communication tools (under the guidance of regional marketing and BPS).</li>
<li>Keeps in touch with Market trends and review/amend strategies accordingly in line with the evolving market conditions.</li>

The Luxury Division team focus on super-premium and luxury led opportunities across the discerning on-trade&amp; off-trade, demonstrating industry leadership in both volume driving and brand building activity. Discerning Trend Leading Influencer accounts are icons within the trade and build a halo for Diageo Luxury portfolio</li><li>
You would be responsible for implementation of strategies and supervising the execution of Commercial plans to consistently deliver Sales, distribution, execution quality within approved budgets &amp; resources. You would lead and influence the partner&rsquo;s Customer Marketing team in planning, coordinating, supervising company and customer &ndash; initiated programs consistent with the Commercial strategies.</li></ul><div></div><div>
What you will be doing?</div><ul><li>
You will develop Diageo Reserve brand stories, plans, priorities and internal sales target working with the sales and marketing teams to activate these plans in a commercially viable manner whilst building brand equity, (All processes will be carried out in full compliance with competition law)</li><li>
You will develop a solid understanding of Diageo Reserve Channel customer base (universe, positioning, value chain, constraints, ambition) spending time in trade with account manager to develop efficient and adapted tools</li><li>
You will provide regular reporting and evaluation (monthly channel/marketing meetings) to ensure that no activity delivers against agreed internal KPI&rsquo;s, business objectives and expected ROI</li><li>
Making recommendations and including in category TP plans with detailed analysis of data from sources such as AC Nielsen and Vision Plus, which are two of the sources measuring our market situation</li><li>
Brand &amp; Business Development: work closely with Marketing team for the alignment of brand strategies by channel / occasion, oversee Sales team&rsquo;s efficient and effective execution/implementation of trade programs, 365 Essentials, and promotions in the covered stores. Ensure that the team meets standards set in the Commercial annual plans in line with competition laws</li><li>
You will be in charge to the creation of customer facing presentations, assisting and contributing to sales tenders/ new business and activations pitching</li><li>
You will ensure on-trade events coordination support (inc. time in field) working in conjunction with the sales managers, event team and event manager, brand managers and external agencies</li><li>
You will bring design briefs to agency partners for development of asset/POSM creation, and you will ensure efficient POSM management (stock levels, storage and logistics)</li><li>
You will be in charge of creating dashboards to supervise A&amp;P budget&amp;NSA (discounts, investments etc.) and managing spend (in collaboration with both sales and marketing)</li><li>
Act / be role model as a senior team member of S&amp;D team to perform leadership codes of Diageo to pursue the &ldquo;celebrate life&rdquo; purpose with open communication, sense of ownership &amp; agility</li></ul><div></div><div>
What we are looking for</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required</li><li>
Minimum 4 years of proven experience in sales and/or customer/trade marketing areas, min. 8 years experience in total</li><li>
Experience in the luxury&amp;hospitality&amp;tourism industry is a PLUS, not a MUST</li><li>
Considerable drive, energy, leadership and focus to sufficiently energize the internal and external resources of the company to execute</li><li>
Understands how the total sales organization operates and how to drive effectiveness.</li><li>
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively internally and externally with good influential and negotiation skills.</li><li>
Strong analytical, presentation and project management skills.</li><li>
Experience in premium outlet &amp; portfolio management with good understanding of HNWI F&amp;B insights</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
