Task-Specific Responsibilities<ul><li>
Conduct analysis and develop recommendations, with Government oversight and approval, regarding the requirements of mission-critical tactical systems employed across a wide range of air and ground-based systems. Covered systems include current airborne platforms (e.g., F-15, F-22, F-35, KC-46, C-17, VC-25, MQ-9, WASP, etc.) and may include planned/future airborne platforms; ground communications systems such as ABMS, TDC, and BLOS; and crypto-capable radios including JTRS, PRC-117, and LMR devices.
</li><li>Provide HQ CCC with research, analysis, and recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities documented as capability gaps in Task 2 and from other sources outside the contractor. Research shall be guided by directives from higher headquarters, NSA, and other agencies involved in cryptographic management or COMSEC.
</li><li>Research and analyze capability gaps such as bandwidth, SWaP, net readiness, and other warfighter-identified gaps through interviews, site visits, and analysis of previous studies conducted by other Agencies or Services, when applicable.
</li><li>Conduct document reviews (e.g., CBA, ICD, Technology Readiness reports, and threat assessments) to map overarching requirements to identified capability gaps.
</li><li>Analyze validated capability gaps and recommend requirements that may be used to develop or obtain a material solution. Perform gap analysis using methods such as Study Plans, Study Guidance, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to evaluate potential solutions to fulfill requirements or eliminate capability gaps.
</li><li>Recommend the alternative(s) that provide the most timely and effective elimination of the stated vulnerability and improve deployed warfighters&rsquo; cryptographic capability.

</li><li>Demonstrated subject matter expertise in initiating and processing configuration changes to fielded systems affecting form, fit, function, or interface (F3I) through the submission, review, and approval stages of the Air Force AF Form 1067 modification process.

Solutions may range from ordering and installing off-the-shelf crypto devices, to major modification R&amp;D efforts, to designing and building a new crypto device. Evaluate selected implementations against current and potential future vulnerabilities. The Government will actively participate in the development and implementation of data collection and evaluation methodologies, and all resulting data will be subject to Government review and independent verification to validate solution effectiveness.

</li><li>Support HQ CCC Government personnel by collecting analysis of Space platforms (e.g., GPS-III, SBIRS, Tactically Responsive Space, CubeSat), conducting research and analysis on GOE or ground communications systems (e.g., FORGE, TBMS, TDC, BLOS), and munitions for all platforms supported by the DAF.
</li><li>Analyze vulnerable crypto devices and algorithms, and research potential solutions to recommend a way ahead for submission to the Government.

Disseminate information on HQ CCC products and services, and conduct analysis and provide recommendations regarding outreach, training, and awareness of HQ CCC cyber mission and activities.
</li><li>Develop and maintain a DAF Crypto Service Catalog consisting of obsolete, modern, and future HADs. Collect and maintain details on each device, including product slick sheets, HW/SW versions, device capabilities, POC details, modernization options, and availability.
</li><li>Coordinate and validate new CyberSecurity Solutions Service Requests Process (CSRP) inquiries, and recommend Submittal to NSA, Modification, or Rejection to the Government. Assist with prioritization of existing certification efforts and communicate status to relevant parties.
</li><li>Coordinate with NSA, PMOs, vendors, and CCC on HAD certification status, timelines, impediments, and expected completion dates for DAF certification efforts. Track progress of non-DAF-led certification efforts relevant to DAF users, and assist the Government in addressing and communicating the consequences of schedule changes.</li></ul>

This position will support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts by helping identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. The position also supports roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization
Responsibilities include but are not limited to<ul><li>
Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, working groups, etc.
</li><li>Draft, edit, and review a variety of correspondence and documentation, primarily using Microsoft Office applications.
</li><li>Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting/conference support.
</li><li>Prepare briefing/training materials and present briefings/trainings.
</li><li>Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization.
</li><li>Provide awareness of new/evolving requirements and recommendations for integration.
</li><li>Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution.
</li><li>Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies.</li></ul> 
Task-Specific Responsibilities<ul><li>
Host Government and inter-agency conferences, symposiums, High Performance Team (HPT) events, user forums, or workshops, based on Government approval and authorization. Provide planning for formal and informal requirements-gathering conferences and meetings supporting HQ CCC crypto/Cyber programs and initiatives, up to and including Formal Requirement document development efforts. Conduct pre-event planning, on-site coordination, proctoring/presentations, post-event activities, and development of secure CM topics focused on Research &amp; Development, Science and Technology, or the technical advancement of Cyber missions.
</li><li>Pre-event planning shall include site selection, development and distribution of announcements, creation of agendas and event materials, and registration, as requested by the Government. On-site coordination shall include attendee check-in, security issue resolution, document control, recording minutes, tracking open action items, and coordination with the host facility. Post-event efforts shall include developing and delivering conference proceedings, pursuing action items to closure, and generating a lessons-learned report.</li></ul>
