Role OverviewThe Customer Service Representative&rsquo;s main role is to maximize Customer Service and thereby sales revenue from an existing base of customers, whilst at the same time generating new revenue from potential customers. As Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to ensure smooth freight movement, timely customer communication, and accurate documentation. The role acts as a key liaison between customers, warehouse teams, drivers, and internal departments to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency. 


Tasks and responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist customer with requests and requirements pertaining to pick up and deliveries, tracing shipments, POD information, rate quotes, and special handling</li>
<li>Interact with management and warehouse personnel to establish service criteria and meet customer requirements</li>
<li>Follow-up on admin topics on time, delivered solutions, delivered vendors, quotations, etc.</li>
<li>Communicate with customer, coworkers, and other departments to facilitate the movement of freight and associated paperwork that require special handling</li>
<li>Making sure all WMS , reporting &amp; communicating platforms are up to date</li>
<li>Audit air bills for completeness and accuracy. Research and maintain filings of air bills</li>
<li>Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests</li>
<li>Read, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracking process</li>
<li>Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports</li>
</ul>
Qualifications &amp; Requirements
<ul>
<li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations.</li>
<li>Experience working with WMS and freight management systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge of air freight documentation and freight coding is an advantage.</li>
