Job Description 
Director of Sales - Hotel
This position is responsible for leading and driving the hotel&rsquo;s sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales, this role will oversee the hotel&rsquo;s sales team, develop strong relationships with key partners and clients, and implement strategic plans that align with Rixos&rsquo; premium positioning and commercial objectives.<ul><li>
Develop and lead a unified sales strategy across all business verticals: luxury accommodations, MICE, corporate and leisure travel, waterpark groups and ticketing, and beach club memberships and events.</li><li>
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to maximize revenue across all market segments.</li><li>
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.</li><li>
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within corporate, MICE, leisure, and wholesale markets.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy.</li><li>
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.</li><li>
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.</li><li>
Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and establish new partnerships to expand the client base.</li><li>
Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to the Cluster Director of Sales.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.</li><li>
Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of experience in a senior hotel sales leadership role, preferably within a luxury or resort environment.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Qatar and GCC markets.</li><li>
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.</li><li>
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and leadership abilities.</li><li>
Proficiency in sales and revenue management systems.</li></ul>
