The successful candidate will work closely with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver accurate, standards-compliant drawings on schedule.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare detailed shop drawings for building works: architectural, structural, and MEP.</li><li>Produce MEP coordination drawings &mdash; HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical layouts &mdash; and resolve clashes between services.</li><li>Develop structural detailing (RC elements, rebar, foundations) and civil works drawings.</li><li>Generate as-built drawings from site redline markups and resolve discrepancies with site teams.</li><li>Prepare drawings for consultant submission and QA/QC inspection, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).</li><li>Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and submission records.</li><li>Support engineers with material take-offs, BOQs, and dimension/setting-out details.</li><li>Raise and track RFIs for design discrepancies between disciplines.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Diploma / HND in Civil, Architectural, or Drafting &amp; Design (or equivalent).</li><li>Minimum 5 years' experience as a draftsman on building projects (not roads/infrastructure only); MEP coordination experience is essential.</li><li>Expert in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit / BIM is a strong advantage.</li><li>Solid understanding of shop drawing preparation, structural detailing, and multi-discipline MEP coordination.</li><li>Familiarity with QCS, Qatar CAD standards, and consultant/authority submission processes.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, ability to meet submission deadlines, and good English communication.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience on Qatar building / mixed-use / institutional projects.</li><li>Knowledge of QCDD / Civil Defence and KAHRAMAA submission requirements.</li><li>Transferable visa / locally available in Qatar.</li></ul>Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
