Job Description2D Visualizer / DraftsmanJob SummaryThe 2D Visualizer / Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings, lighting layouts, smart home system plans, and shop drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The role supports the sales, design, and project teams by producing professional CAD drawings and documentation that comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical DraftingPrepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.Produce lighting layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), electrical layouts, and smart home system drawings.Prepare installation drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.Develop detailed layouts for lighting fixtures, control panels, switches, sensors, and automation devices.Update drawings based on client comments, consultant revisions, and site conditions.Design SupportAssist Lighting Designers and Smart Home Engineers in converting concepts into technical drawings.Prepare presentation drawings for client proposals and project submissions.Coordinate drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and applicable standards.Project CoordinationCoordinate with the Sales, Design, Procurement, and Installation teams to ensure drawing accuracy.Attend project coordination meetings when required.Support site engineers by providing updated drawings and technical documentation.Maintain revision control and proper documentation of all project drawings.DocumentationOrganise and maintain electronic drawing files and project documentation.Ensure drawings are properly labelled, archived, and distributed.Prepare material schedules and drawing indexes when required.Maintain confidentiality of project information and company intellectual property.Quality AssuranceVerify dimensions and technical accuracy before submission.Ensure drawings comply with local electrical regulations and project requirements.Review consultant and client comments and implement necessary revisions promptly.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.Minimum 2&ndash;4 years of drafting experience in lighting, electrical, interior fit-out, or smart home projects.Experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects is an advantage.Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD (essential).Knowledge of lighting layout preparation.Understanding of reflected ceiling plans (RCP).Familiarity with electrical and low-current drawings.Basic understanding of KNX, DALI, smart home automation, or lighting control systems is preferred.Experience using SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Revit is an advantage.Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Core CompetenciesStrong attention to detail.Excellent technical drawing skills.Good communication and teamwork.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Problem-solving and analytical thinking.Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy and quality of technical drawings.Timely completion of drawing submissions.Number of drawing revisions due to drafting errors.Compliance with project standards and specifications.Responsiveness to revision requests.Effective coordination with internal departments and project teams.Proper maintenance of drawing records and documentation.Working ConditionsOffice-based with occasional site visits.Standard working hours with flexibility to support project deadlines.May be required to attend client meetings and site coordination meetings when necessary.Pay: KD250.000 - KD350.000 per monthWork Location: In person

 Have experience in protection relay maintenance and testing.

 <li>
 Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid computer skills, including familiarity with diagnostic software and service management systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
