<div>This position is being recruited by Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). NAFSA is being established as a strategic national initiative to strengthen Pakistan&rsquo;s agri-trade ecosystem through enhanced regulatory oversight, facilitation, and modernization of food safety and trade processes. The selected candidate will be part of NAFSA&rsquo;s foundational team, contributing to the development of systems, processes, and institutional capabilities.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manage plant export compliance operations, ensuring consignments meet importing-country phytosanitary requirements prior to certification.</li><li>
Supervise export inspection, sampling, and verification processes, including compliance with export SOPs and importing-country protocols.</li><li>
Coordinate with exporters, treatment providers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliances with related SPS and adherence with respective market access requirements</li><li>
Ensure implementation and verification of required phytosanitary treatments and approved measures for exports.</li><li>
Maintain export compliance records including certifications, rejections, interceptions, suspensions, and reinstatements.</li><li>
Coordinate with IPPC Contact Point/MAIC on export compliance issues, including responses to interceptions and verification requests from importing countries.</li><li>
Support verification missions and audits conducted by importing countries and prepare evidence and reports.</li><li>
Prepare periodic export compliance and performance reports for management review.</li>
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA&rsquo;s mandate.

M.Sc. (Hons.) / MPhil (minimum eighteen years of education) in Agriculture with specialisation in Entomology, Plant Protection, Plant Pathology, Weed Science or related field.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in plant quarantine, phytosanitary certification, export compliance, or SPS operations.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of phytosanitary certification requirements, ISPMs, and importing-country compliance frameworks.</li><li>
Experience coordinating with exporters and border agencies and handling non-compliance cases.</li><li>
