Job Summary:
The Field MarketingCommunity Manager is a dual-focus leadership role responsible for driving the state's holistic marketing strategy. This individual will oversee the operational management of the field team (hiring, budgets, and sales alignment) while simultaneously serving as the primary bridge to the budtender community through the execution of Jeeter University.
You will lead the planning and budgeting for state-wide activations, manage and mentor the field marketing team, and ensure that every interaction-from in-store activations to educational &quot;Social Hours&quot; reflects Jeeter's high standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance high-level strategy and data analysis with hands-on community engagement and brand education..
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead the state's field marketing team, providing daily direction, support, and mentorship.</li><li>
Manage the full lifecycle of staffing, including hiring, onboarding, training, and initial 90-day support for new hires.</li><li>
Conduct performance evaluations, regular team meetings to align goals, and make staffing recommendations (including promotions and terminations).</li><li>
Create, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for field visits, Jeeter University events, and Social Hours to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.</li><li>
Lead the planning and execution of all Jeeter University education programs, serving as the subject matter expert on current and upcoming product standards, brand storytelling, and go-to-market priorities. Ensure education efforts are directly tied to improving in-store advocacy, visibility, and sell-through.</li><li>
Own the execution of in-market field programs consisting of Hook Up Days, Social Hours, and community activations. Ensure all activations are executed to brand standards, aligned with quarterly KPIs, and optimized for consumer engagement, budtender impact, and retail performance.</li><li>
Partner closely with our VM, Sales and Field teams to drive best-in-class visual merchandising execution. Align with accounts on the placement, installation, and maintenance of Jeeter-branded displays, shelf space, and point-of-sale assets, and provide clear direction on VM standards to elevate retail presence and shoppability.</li><li>
Organize and host budtender Social Hours, awards programs, and apparel giveaways designed to build brand loyalty, strengthen community relationships, and reinforce Jeeter's premium positioning within key retail partners.</li><li>
Develop and manage state-specific budtender VIP and ambassador initiatives, recruiting and nurturing high-impact advocates within dispensaries to participate in Jeeter's community, education, and activation programs.</li><li>
Act as the voice of the market by monitoring local trends, competitive activity, and retail execution opportunities. Translate insights from the field into actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and leadership to continuously improve programs and in-store execution.</li><li>
Oversee the entire state marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation for both general field operations and community events.</li><li>
Approve and track field team expenses (travel, accommodations) and maintain company credit card usage compliance.</li><li>
Create and manage specific budgets for Jeeter University and events, focusing on cost-effectiveness and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI).</li><li>
Collaborate with Sales Regionals to develop marketing strategies that support revenue goals, promotional efforts, and product sell-through rates.</li><li>
Monitor field activities to identify wins, losses, and areas for improvement. Create and manage surveys for budtender campaigns to gather performance data.</li><li>
Provide weekly reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and Sales Managers covering:<ul><li>
KPI performance and impact of field activities.</li><li>
In-store experience metrics and contract status.</li><li>
Jeeter University/Event engagement metrics.</li><li>
Budget updates, asset inventory, and resource requests.</li></ul></li><li>
Collaborate with the product development team monthly to stay informed about product roadmaps and ensure the field team is educated on new SKUs.</li><li>
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the timely distribution of marketing assets and event materials.</li></ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and allocating resources in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels (from budtenders to executive leadership).</li><li>
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Asana, and other project management tools for tracking and reporting.</li><li>
Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>
4+ years of team management experience, including hiring, training, and supervising field or community teams.</li><li>
4+ years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, and event planning, with a proven track record of executing successful community initiatives.</li><li>
Experience in the cannabis industry or similar regulated sectors is highly preferred.</li></ul>

The ICIRR Immigrant Family Resource Program goal is to ensure low-income immigrant families and other limited-English speaking persons can thrive by reducing barriers when seeking public benefits (nutritional, medical, housing, psychological, childcare, employment), as well as the cash support they need for proper health, well-being, and economic self-sufficiency.<ul><li>Collect resources on recreational activities, housing, food, clothing, school programs, vocational opportunities or services, providers to teach life skills, and relevant mental health services</li><li>Initiate, establish, and nurture a close working relationship with other community-based organizations, agencies, schools, and healthcare facilities to promote the income supports services offered under the Immigrant Families Resources Program (IFRP).</li><li>Assists client to develop natural resources and contact social support networks.</li><li>Conduct community education about public benefits available to immigrants in IL.</li><li>Work in collaboration with fellow team members to secure support in attending the various outreach events.</li><li>Prepare the marketing materials needed to be delivered at each event, ensuring that program flyers and marketing giveaways are available at all times.</li><li>Collect the outreach sign-in logs at the conclusion of each event and deliver them to the Program Director for review and proper tracking of efforts in the system.</li><li>Maintain an updated Outreach Activities binder to have it ready for programmatic audit reviews.</li><li>Conduct weekly follow-up calls to the individuals outreached in the recruitment to schedule appointments for services eligibility screening and provision of documentation requirements needed to apply for the different public benefits available and other social services available in the State of Illinois and the Chicagoland area.</li><li>Ensure the follow-up with potential program applicants occurs within the following week the outreach event took place.</li><li>Track the outcomes generated by each outreach event to gage the recruitment success.</li><li>Organize internal and external workshops to educate the community on the importance to access income supports services, such as Medicare, Medicaid, All Kids, SNAP, and case assistance benefits through the Illinois Department of Human Service (IDHS) to eradicate the myth of &ldquo;becoming a public charge&rdquo; when an eligible person access these services.</li><li>Offer a flexible schedule to participate in community events for recruitment and promotional purposes after normal business hours, and some weekends (Saturday and/or Sundays), throughout the year.</li></ul>
Facilitate community workshops and serve as an interpreter when attending outreach events and workshops.<ul><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

</div><div><div><div><div>The HistoryMakers, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit African American video oral history archive, seeks to hire a full time Non Profit Web &amp; Digital Content Manager who is skilled and results driven and can work as a one person team. The Digital Strategist will spearhead work with The HistoryMakers website(www.thehistorymakers.org), The HistoryMakers Digital Archive and social media to build a strong digital community. Prior experience supervising a Drupal CMS website, analyzing user experience data, initiating and leading effective digital projects, reporting on current and planned strategies, and ensuring that projects are executed on time and within budget and serving as an effective project manager a must. Ideal candidates for this position should be multimedia savvy, possess excellent writing skills in a humanities or education related environment and be able to steer our organization&rsquo;s digital narrative and drive highly effective digital campaigns.</div>

<div><div><div><ul><li>Serve as a strong project manager with internal and external team members and ensure that projects are well documented and delivered within budget and on time.</li>
<li>Coordinate the design, deployment and maintenance of The HistoryMakers website and serve as the project manager to ensure site specifications/timelines are completed on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Develop a social media and user engagement plan based on user audits.</li>
<li>Write, edit, proofread and fact-check copy for brand, tone, audience, consistency and accuracy.</li>
<li>Optimize SEO and research/engagement digital tools and interactive trends and map out optimization of digital assets.</li>
<li>Drive value for The HistoryMakers and increase membership numbers and engagement.</li>
<li>Respond to online inquiries, reviews and comments in real time as necessary in conjunction with The HistoryMakers&rsquo; standards.</li>
<li>Maintain content calendar and implement and manage boosted post social media campaigns.</li>
<li>Responsible for managing budgets for all assigned boosted post campaigns.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.</li>

<div><div><div><ul><li>Degree in African American Studies, History, Communications and/or Marketing.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Acrobat Professional, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Microsoft word and excel. Creative design skills a plus.</li>
<li>Project management skills and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills to include advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop software programs including Java and HTML programming experience.</li>
<li>Ability to identify, research, and solve problems and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Strong oral ,written communication skills and deadline driven.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, strong proofreading skills, written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of digital touch points.</li>
<li>Understanding of web analytics and broad knowledge of best digital practices.</li>
