 Experience teaching Modern Standard Arabic at the university level and developing pedagogical materials and incorporating active learning pedagogy into the curriculum.

 <li>
 Experience in teaching university level non-native learners. Consideration will be given to faculty who have experience in international or bilingual environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Training in ACTFL or CEFR proficiency guidelines and experience in foreign language proficiency-based instruction, preferably with a rater or tester certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and best practices including &rdquo;Active learning&rdquo; in the classroom and experience utilizing advanced classroom technologies.
