Job Summary:Responsible for undertaking reviews and approval of mechanical engineering design packages including drawings, specifications, and other form of documentation prior to submission.Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform design review of mechanical services (HVAC, WS, DR&amp;FF) for all projects for the following but not limited to; high end residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, shopping centers, hotel, hospitals, universities, both high-rise and low-rise developments etc.</li><li>Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of HVAC, Water supply, Drainage &amp; Firefighting system diagram and Utility Systems Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;ID's), and general arrangements.</li><li>Develop final design documents including specification, sequences of operation as well as the HVAC, Water supply, Drainage &amp; Firefighting layout and final design documents.</li><li>Prepare data sheet for major equipment&rsquo;s, tender specification &amp; Design Reports.</li><li>Coordinate efforts for design reviews with other design review team members in all disciplines such as Architectural, MEP, Structural, project managers, and others as required.</li><li>Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.</li><li>Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development &amp; tenders management activities when requested.</li><li>Site visit to handle client / vendor quires, input collection &amp; design co-ordination.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers and clients.</li><li>Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.</li><li>Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development &amp; tenders management activities</li><li>To ensure, Implement, Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards</li><li>Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental department requirements and Audits.</li><li>To Report and record the QHSE dept. non-conformities and in coordination with QHSE dept for closure.</li><li>Identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards and risks in the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a culture of quality, health, safety &amp; environmental within the organization.</li><li>Understanding, support and follow the waste management system</li><li>Coordinate and contact the organization ERT team during in emergency case</li><li>Record, report the incidents and near misses to the management and QHSE dept.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>8 to 10 years of experience</li><li>Proficient in AutoCad and other Applications such as Revit (BIM), HAP Software , and other equivalent applications.</li><li>Very good knowledge of software selection for AHU , FCU , and Fans.</li><li>Deal with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Creative ability to solve problems of design, supervision, testing &amp; commissioning work</li><li>Site experience in basic design requirements, estimation, installation and all site activities related to all mechanical works for construction of large-scale building or other related projects.</li><li>Familiar with all the mechanical engineering methodologies.</li><li>Well versed in interpreting and executing mechanical related drawings.</li><li>Excellent skills in Construction Management, AutoCAD and MS office.</li><li>A good knowledge of engineering project planning software is required</li><li>Have thorough knowledge of codes related to the design.</li><li>Have thorough knowledge of mechanical software program i.e. HAP, CAD, Revit. The role requires strong technical knowledge, engineering expertise, and the ability to oversee projects from feasibility through execution.
Engineering &amp; Technical Activities
Perform design and detailed engineering of static and package equipment such as:

Experience in both onshore and offshore facilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
